Museum regional Academy-2019
Mogilev, September 16-17, 2019.

Topic: Museum exhibition and educational strategies.
Venue: Cultural Institution «Museum of the History of the City of Mogilev», Museum of Ethnography.

The fourth training seminar «Museum Communication», which completes the Belarusian training program, was held in Mogilev in the framework of the Regional Museum Academy-2019 in two leading museums: the Museum of the History of the City of Mogilev and the Museum of Ethnography, a branch of the Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore named after E.R. Romanova.

The presentation of the new concept of the regional museum, which was prepared by referent Stefan Schumann on the example of the transformation of the Beskov castle museum and its exposition into the regional museum of the Oder-Spre district, with subsequent discussion and analysis both in small groups and the whole community, was especially interesting for Belarusian listeners from the regions.

The main report of the second referent, Carolina Savchik, was entitled «Building the educational and mediation work of the museum on the example of the German-Russian Museum «Berlin-Karlshorst» - needs, events, figures, problems».
