Payment of membership fees
Since 2022, the ICOM membership fee amounts have been changed for Belarus, in exchange for which stamps are issued to be pasted onto the membership card. Now the basic fee (Regular) is 23 euros, and for pensioners (Retired) and students (Student) – 11 euros per year.
This happened because the ICOM International Executive Board, based on data from the International Monetary Fund, decided to change the terms of payment of contributions for several countries. In terms of solvency, ICOM divides countries into four categories that reflect the different capabilities of the national economy. Previously, Belarus belonged to the 2nd category, and now it has moved to category 3rd.
Membership fees are paid by bank transfer to account BY80BLNB30150000852757000933 in JSC “BNB-Bank”, BIC SWIFT bank BLNBBY2X, PIN ICOM Belarus – 101570601, purpose of payment – payment of membership fees, payment in Belarusian rubles at the rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus at the time of payment + 10 Belarusian rubles. Payment of membership fees gives the right to receive international stamps and, accordingly, the opportunity to visit most museums in the world free of charge upon presentation. We receive stamps from Paris, transferring there the amount converted into euros from the ICOM Belarus account in Belarusian rubles. Banking operations for conversion and transfer of funds are subject to a commission, for which we collect an additional 10 Belarusian rubles.
When making a payment, be sure to indicate the name and surname of the ICOM member in the payment document, and not his friend, colleague or relative making the payment. The contribution is reflected electronically in the ICOM account, but if it is anonymous or associated with an unfamiliar surname, this creates accounting difficulties and takes time and effort to clarify. We ask you to respect our work.
Send a scanned copy or photo of the completed payment to e-mail info@icom-belarus.org. After that, you will be able to receive the stamp from the treasurer of ICOM Belarus, whose duties in 2024 are performed by Dmitry Monich (+375 29 778 6461, zmiciermonich@gmail.com).
